Peaceful Provisions & First Village Coffee

Let me tell you about this incredible little company called Peaceful Provisions.

This is a small little vegan baked goods co. made up of twin sisters, and when I tell you they have the greatest donuts I’ve ever had, I mean it! The flavors they come up with are out of this world! They once had a rose water glazed… um, yes please! And their pumpkin! Oh, the banana crumb! Ahh, the apple jam filled… I can’t tell you how great these are. You must try them! They’re always in the city on the weekends sharing the vegan goodness. Follow them on Instagram to keep up with their whereabouts.

Phil and I discovered them a couple years ago and have literally chased their donuts all over Westchester County, New York!

Every coffee shop they were sold at, we were there. Sometimes we would even try to be the first customers at the coffee house in our town because they sold out so fast.

I’m lucky enough to have been chosen for a little flavor contest they recently held called Peaceful Creations. HashtagWinning ;)

My flavor creation, the Mountain Top, is a maple and pine infused donut With pine glaze. They brought this baby to life a million times better than I could have ever imagined! It was inspired by our love of the Adirondack mountains.

Phil and I went to a newish little coffee shop in Ossining, First Village Coffee, to pick up my prize. A box of their amazing donuts, which included my winning flavor! So, last week, my Sunday consisted of a wonderful cup of coffee, an oat milk cappuccino and DONUTS!!! The baristas at FVC are so nice and the owner came over to chat for a few minutes. He’s a big supporter of bringing vegan into our little Hudson Valley towns. Look out folks, he just might be branching out someday soon! (Also, for all the customers that were drooling over the donuts, they’re sold there tree times a week I believe!)

Peaceful Provisions, thanks for picking me and bringing my wintery, pine tree in the snow, on top of a mountain, flavor combination to life. You ladies have the greatest product and I know you’ll go places! Can’t wait to taste the next best thing!
